Leadership in the era of AI
Workshop Register HereAbout the Session
Anyone who’s managed a team or an organisation would agree that being in a leadership role is messy and complex. Many leaders today say that they feel overwhelmed trying to manage the demands of a diverse group of stakeholders, dynamics of the markets, ever expanding digitization of our lives, and the changing social context, among other challenges.
In the traditional management model that was prevalent 100 years ago & is still prevalent today, leaders focus on profits, clients, strategy, and stakeholders. In recent times, they are expected to be knowledgeable in a wide range of areas including diversity, mental well-being, inclusion, multi-generational and an AI-enabled workforce. In short, the range of responsibilities of a leader has widened and the expectations have increased in the face of multiple, interlinked crises.
While leaders are expected to be ambitious, authoritative and independent, they are also called upon to be supportive, collaborative and empathetic at the same time.
How can leaders navigate these paradoxes and challenges ? When they struggle to pause, reflect and act in the face of uncertainty and complexity of the world, how can they be expected to effectively manage the work of others ?
What can they do and be that not only empowers oneself and others to make sense of and respond to these challenges but also affect the required shift in the outdated Newtonian mindsets ?
If you are curious to discuss and get some actionable insights for these questions, you are invited to attend this 90-minutes workshop.
Who can attend ? Anyone who is in a leadership/management role. Or if you are simply interested in knowing more about leadership.
